Take Free Asperger’s Test

Autism Quotient (AQ)

The Autism Spectrum Quotient (AQ) test was developed by Dr. Simon Baron-Cohen and colleagues at the Autism Research Centre in Cambridge. It is a self-assessment tool designed to identify the degree to which an adult with normal intelligence may have traits associated with the autism spectrum.

This test has been scientifically validated and is commonly used in research. However, it is not a diagnostic tool. The results are intended for informational and educational purposes only. If you have concerns about autism or related symptoms, consult a licensed medical professional.

Important: You must be registered and be logged in to take the test and view your results. To login or register, please go to log in before taking the test.

Authors: Simon Baron-Cohen, Sally Wheelwright, Richard Skinner, Joanne Martin, and Emma Clubley. (Published in the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders, 2001.)
