Center for Neuroscience and Genomic Medicine
A physician-led genomic second opinion clinic for neurological, neurodevelopmental, psychiatric and multisystem disease.

Examples of clinical presentations that may benefit from genomic review:
Asperger’s Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorders
Nonverbal Autism
Asperger’s Syndrome
Pervasive Developmental Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS)
Childhood Disintegrative Disorder
ADHD, Severe Anxiety, Treatment-Resistant Depression
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Persistent Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)
Bipolar Disorder with Treatment-Resistant Depression
Cases Where Medications Are Ineffective or Cause Severe Side Effects
Pharmacogenomic Issues (e.g., variations in enzymes affecting drug metabolism)
Adverse Drug Reactions (e.g., Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, Drug-Induced Lupus)
Multiple Drug Allergies or Sensitivities
Genetic Risk for Alzheimer’s: APOE Genotype
APOE genotyping may be relevant in selected patients being evaluated for Alzheimer’s disease risk or amyloid-targeting therapy risk stratification. Results should be interpreted in the context of clinical evaluation and should not be used alone to diagnose dementia.
Seizures
Down Syndrome
Fragile X Syndrome
Rett Syndrome
Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome
Dravet Syndrome
Skin, Sensory, or Digestive Issues
Eczema (Atopic Dermatitis)
Psoriasis
Sensory Processing Disorder
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
Crohn’s Disease
Celiac Disease
Why Choose Us?
Most genomic data interpretation services rely on software engineers — we rely on physicians

Physician-Led Expertise
Unlike most genetic testing services that rely on software engineers and automated reports, our interpretation is led by physicians trained in clinical genomics. We connect your DNA results to your symptoms and your health history to provide real medical decision support.
Clinical Integration and Personalization
At the Center for Neuroscience and Genomic Medicine, we don’t just identify mutations — we interpret them in context. We evaluate the clinical relevance of each variant, generate genomic differential diagnoses, and provide rationale for confirmatory laboratory tests, imaging, specialist referrals, and lifestyle changes based on your unique profile.
Proven Accuracy
Our analysis includes all ACMG-recommended actionable genes — a curated list of genetic variants identified by the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics as medically significant. These genes are associated with conditions that are preventable or treatable if detected early, such as certain cancers, heart disorders, and metabolic diseases.
Clear, Actionable Results
We translate complex genetic data into simple, meaningful decision-support insights. Our reports include clear next steps — not vague summaries or variant lists — and our AI tools allow for interactive exploration of data when desired.
Dr. Andrius Baskys, MD, PhD

Dr. Andrius Baskys is the founder and Medical Director of the Center for Neuroscience and Genomic Medicine. He is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and specializes in precision psychiatry and neurogenomics. Dr. Baskys completed his residency at the University of Toronto, a clinical fellowship at McMaster University, postdoctoral research at the University of California, San Francisco and holds Graduate Certificate in Clinical Genomics from NHS, UK.
Precision Evaluation and Genomic Testing
Dr Baskys provides comprehensive evaluation and personalized management for a wide spectrum of neuropsychiatric and neurodevelopmental conditions. He specializes in complex and often overlapping presentations, including:
- Autism spectrum disorders (including adult autism and Asperger’s syndrome)
- Intellectual and developmental delays
- Psychotic disorders
- Neuropsychiatric conditions
- Memory and cognitive concerns
Dr Baskys integrates clinical expertise with advanced genomic testing, including next-generation DNA sequencing, to support more accurate diagnosis and individualized treatment planning.
Sequencing may be performed by a laboratory that holds CLIA certification; however, unless specifically ordered through a CLIA clinical pathway, the analysis and interpretation provided through this service are informational and should not be considered a CLIA-certified diagnostic laboratory report. Clinically actionable findings should be confirmed through an appropriate CLIA-certified test before being used for diagnosis, treatment, or reproductive decision-making.
Clinic Location and Features
Dr Baskys provides Telemedicine consultations and consultations to referring physicians for complex cases.
